Milford-on-Sea Parish Council is responsible for many village amenities, makes valuable observations on planning applications and supports the works of local groups and organisations.
The Parish Council is non-political and has 12 elected representatives from the local population. They freely give their time to represent the views of the local community and help deliver services to improve the quality of life for everyone living and working in the vibrant community of Milford-on-Sea.

MESSAGE
The parish council’s planning committee meeting scheduled for Monday 3rd March has been postponed.
This is due to only one planning application being received on the date the agenda needs to be published.
Planning Application 25/10103 (Lymore Gate) will be heard at the start of the full Parish Council meeting held on Monday 17th March at 6.30pm

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Milford-on-Sea Parish Council.
If by 20 March, 2025 14 days after the date of this notice excluding Saturdays, Sundays and bank
holidays, a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer,
New Forest District Council, Appletree Court, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, SO43 7PA by TEN
electors for the Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy. If no request for an election is
received the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
If an election is called, it will take place no later than 28 May, 2025.
